ARA ALL NATIONS CRICKET FESTIVAL TO KICK START

The Christchurch Metro Cricket Association and Christchurch Multicultural Council are pleased to announce that due to huge success and popularity with the inaugural last year tournament (which had 6 teams), 11 teams representing Afghani, Indian, Nepalese, Pakistani and Sri Lankan communities have registered for the Ara All Nations T20 Cricket Tournament which will be played on Sundays from 25 November to 16 December 2018.

Matches will be played at the Polo Grounds in Hagley Park South near Deans Ave on the artificial pitches.

Early favourites are the Kings Punjab XI, who took out the competition last year, but they will face stiff competition from some of the new teams, who boast high level players from within the CMCA Club structure.

Having the Ara Institute of Canterbury on board as naming rights supporters also helps elevate the tournament to another level and we thank them for their involvement.
